Coriander Rasam/Soup

Ingredients
Tamarind water – 1 cups
Tomato – 1 no
Oil – 2 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida – a pinch
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
To grind
Pepper – 1 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Coriander – 1/4 cup (chopped)
Method
1. Grind pepper and cumin seeds. Then add coriander leaves and grind.
2. Add 1/2 cup of tamarind water. To it add tomatoes, turmeric powder, rasam powder, asafetida, salt and cook until done.
3. Add the grind coriander leaves to it. When rasam starts to become frothy switch off the flame.
4. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves and asafetida to temper finally.
