Cocoa -Marie Balls

Ingredients:

  • Marie Biscuits– 25 no.s

  • Cocoa Powder – 3 tsp

  • Butter - 50gm

  • Milkmaid – 3 tbsp

  • Vanilla essence – 1 tsp

  • Almond – 10 no.s

Method:


1. · Powder the Marie biscuits finely in a blender. Add cocoa powder to the powdered biscuits and blend well.

2. In a bowl, melt the butter. To it add milkmaid and vanilla essence.

3. Mix all the above ingredients together and bring it to dough like consistency.

4· Make lemon size balls. Place a piece of almond on top of the ball to decorate.


Nutrition HighlightsAlmonds provide good protein and fiber source. Milkmaid is a source of protein and sugar. Cocoa powder is a source of trace amounts of phosphorus, calcium and magnesium and good amount of anti-oxidants. Marie light biscuits provide adequate calories and nutritionally healthy in terms of fat and sugar.
